Shinjuku Central Park, which is the largest park of Shinjuku, is within a 10-minute walk and you can enjoy lunch at cafe or taking a walk for refreshing at there. Nishi-Shinjuku is not an usual area as not only passing through that park, you will see the symbol of Shinjuku, the towers of Tokyo Metropolitan Government, but also you could step in the Shibuya area by heading to Hatsudai. Around Nishi-Shinjuku-5chome, the nearest station from the house, there are 24-hour supermarket, drugstores and restaurants, and you can find some shopping streets around Hatsudai Station.
